چکیده

Nowadays, we face a series of global challenges, including the growing depletion fossil energy, environmental pollution, and warming. The replacement coal, petroleum, natural gas by secondary energy resources is vital for sustainable development. Hydrogen (H2) considered ultimate in 21st century because its diverse sources, cleanliness, low carbon emission, flexibility, high efficiency. H2 fuel cell vehicles are commonly end-point application energy. Owing to their zero they gradually replacing traditional powered fuel. As vehicle industry rapidly develops, supply, especially quality, attracts increasing attention. Compared with industrial use, purity requirements cells not high. Still, impurity content strictly controlled since even amount some impurities may irreversibly damage cells’ performance running life. This paper reviews different versions current standards concerning China abroad. Furthermore, analyze causes developing trends changes these detail. On other hand, according characteristics vehicles, standard purification technologies, such as pressure swing adsorption (PSA), membrane separation metal hydride separation, were analyzed, latest research progress was reviewed.
